New Year New Resolutions

I hope you and your loved ones had a safe and Happy New Year!

The holidays are over and vacations are ending.

Time to put away the lights and decorations and prepare to go back to work and start 2014 with fresh resolutions. I decided that my only resolution is to be more productive and less time moping around that my husband works every weekend and I end up spending these days by myself.   Hopefully, this means more time with my family who lives afar. More time with Nellie, my Nikon and learning more about photography.  More time with a journal of some sort.  Perhaps this blog is my first step to journaling.  More time with friends who live close by and those who live out of state.   I already have made promises to go visit friends in Oklahoma, North Carolina and New Jersey. I will work on scheduling these trips so that they take place the first quarter of this year.

What about you?  What are your plans for yourself in 2014? Did you make resolutions today that you will break tomorrow?  Take a moment and let me know in the comments below.

  1. I don't make resolutions. I feel so badly when I break or forget them. I do form intentions, however. That feels safer to me. My intentions are to be more creative this year. I want to make some journals. There is a lady on youtube who posts some great videos on this - her handle is Pocketfullofvintage. I also intend to become more active. Must get my buns in motion!

    1. Perhaps I need to rename today's post to New Year - New Intentions. :-) I now have a FITBIT to help remind me to be more active, too! Good Luck to both of us!

  2. So glad to see you here and hope to see more in 2014. Mostly this year I need to be more efficient in my time management, to make the most of every minute. That includes time for fun, of course. Happy New Year, Debbie!
